Friends of the School

The ‘Friends of Bishop’s Castle Primary School’ is a thriving group to which all parents automatically belong and which works to further the links between home and school by holding social events from time to time. Through its successful fund-raising events the Friends are also instrumental in providing the school with valuable additional equipment for the children. We are very grateful to the Friends association for all they do to support the work of the school.

Global Ocean Trawler Challenge

We are proud to announce that we have now become a global environmental partner with The British Ironwork Centre in Shropshire.  We are really excited about our first eco-challenge, where we will compete against other schools to see who can fill a trawler net with the most crisp and confectionary packets.  If we manage to achieve our goal, we will have the opportunity to loan ‘Coral’ the clownfish or one of her friends, completely free.
