Welcome to our school!  We are a busy and friendly school, with a real focus upon developing the unique talents of our children through the curriculum and extended curriculum. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up-to-date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.  With just over 130 pupils, we are big enough to offer a range of activities, but we still have every child's individual abilities and needs at the forefront of our minds.

At Bishop's Castle Primary School, we are all are committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for our pupils, in terms of their progress, personal growth, happiness and sense of safety.  We strive to work with everyone within our school community, including parents, children and staff, to develop a team approach to the education of our children.  We believe in the importance of teaching children to treat each other with kindness and respect, and we expect everyone to model such values through their personal behaviour, and reflecting the DHMAT vision of "Educating for life in all its fullness".
