At Bishop’s Castle Primary we aim to give children a broad educational experience which celebrates the richness and diversity of the society in which we live. We believe that girls and boys have an equal right to develop the skills they will need in order to live a full and happy life. We will avoid gender stereotyping and give girls and boys equal opportunities to undertake all activities.
We are opposed to racism and racist behaviour, we will challenge instances of this should they occur and we will actively promote racial equality.
We believe that neither background nor intellectual ability is related to a person’s worth as a member of society and we actively encourage the children to believe this too.
